BuildInterview company terms

A person creating or administering a company workspace confirms that they are authorized to act for that company. The company is responsible for its members, roles, candidate lists, assessment configuration, hiring process, accommodations, notices, and employment decisions.

BuildInterview may review, approve, reject, suspend, or restrict a company registration to protect candidates, customers, assessment content, and the service.

• Use the service only for lawful, job-related assessment and authorized internal evaluation.
• Invite only candidates the company is entitled to contact.
• Do not use protected characteristics, medical information, or monitoring events as unsupported scoring criteria.
• Do not extract, publish, resell, reverse engineer, or help others obtain confidential assessment content or hidden graders.
• Do not probe another tenant, bypass access controls, disrupt an interview, or run malicious code outside the supplied sandbox.

Results can include deterministic tests, configured automated evaluation, supporting work evidence, and monitoring evidence. They are decision-support information, not a guarantee of job performance and not a substitute for a fair hiring process. The company decides how much weight to give a result and must provide any review or appeal required by law or its policy.

The company retains its rights in data it provides. BuildInterview processes customer and candidate data to operate, secure, support, and improve the reliability of the contracted service. Customer content is not used to train a general-purpose AI model. Each party must protect the other party's confidential information and disclose it only where authorized or legally required.

Support is provided by email. Pilot features can change as defects, security concerns, legal requirements, or provider changes are addressed. BuildInterview may interrupt or disable a capability where continued operation creates a security, integrity, legal, or reliability risk.

Fees, taxes, usage limits, expiry, and refund terms are stated in the applicable order or purchase flow. A manually granted pilot entitlement is not proof of payment. Either party may end a pilot as agreed; security abuse or unlawful use may be suspended immediately. Data is returned or deleted under the applicable agreement and retention schedule.

Each party remains responsible for matters within its control. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties beyond the written agreement. Any liability limits, indemnities, governing law, and dispute terms must be stated in the signed order or commercial agreement. These online terms do not override mandatory rights.
